How much do professional headshots cost in Vancouver?
Individual Studio Mini-Sessions start at $119 CAD (up to 30 minutes, 1 outfit/look, guided coaching, instant image selection, and 2 retouched portraits). Studio Pro Sessions are $219 CAD (up to 60 minutes, up to 3 outfits/looks, multiple backdrops, and 4 retouched portraits). Corporate Group & Team headshots start at $59–$79 per person depending on headcount.
Where is your Vancouver headshot studio located and is there parking?
Our studio is located at 1610 Pandora Street in Vancouver, BC (V5L 1L6), near Commercial Drive and Powell Street—just 5 to 8 minutes east of Downtown Vancouver. Convenient street and visitor parking is available directly outside.
How far in advance should I book my headshot session?
We recommend booking 3 to 7 days in advance for individual studio sessions, and 1 to 3 weeks in advance for on-location corporate team days or conference coverage. Same-week urgent appointments are often available—call (604) 805-1828 to check.
Wardrobe, Eyeglasses & Preparation
What should I wear for a corporate or LinkedIn headshot?
Solid mid-to-dark tones (navy, charcoal, jewel tones, slate blue, emerald, burgundy) and structured layers (tailored blazers, suit jackets, crisp collared shirts, or structured knits) photograph best. Avoid busy micro-patterns, neon colors, or large logos. Bring 2 to 3 options and we will help you pick the most flattering combination on set.
Should I wear my eyeglasses during my headshot session?
If you wear glasses daily, definitely wear them. We angle our studio lighting modifiers precisely to eliminate green/blue anti-reflective lens glare, and we can also capture a few frames without glasses for variety.
Do you offer hair and makeup services?
Most clients arrive camera-ready with natural, everyday grooming (plus translucent powder to reduce T-zone shine). If you would like a professional Hair & Makeup Artist (HMUA) in-studio or on-location for your team, let us know when booking and we can arrange one.
Corporate Teams & On-Location Shoots
How much space do you need at our office for an on-location team shoot?
A 10×12 ft conference room, open corner, or lobby area is plenty for our portable commercial lighting and backdrop studio. We can also photograph your team using your office’s natural architectural environment.
What if a team member misses our corporate photo day or we hire new staff later?
We record your exact lighting ratios, backdrop color, camera height, and crop specifications. Any future hires or absent staff can visit our 1610 Pandora Street studio for an individual session that matches your existing team grid seamlessly.
Selection, Retouching & Turnaround
How do I choose which photos get retouched?
We shoot tethered to a color-calibrated iPad or monitor so you can review your portraits live during the session and select your favorites before you leave. We can also provide a private online proofing gallery if you prefer to review with your team.
How long does retouching take and what is included?
Standard turnaround is 48 to 72 business hours (24-hour rush delivery is available). Retouching is done by hand and includes blemish removal, under-eye brightening, stray hair cleanup, eyeglass glare reduction, and natural teeth whitening while preserving real skin texture.
